Baby Steps

Noah is officially walking. He took his first steps on December 29 but had only taken one or two here and there since. Today he was standing by the coffee table and then just let go and walked to one of the kitchen bar stools. It was at least 6 steps. Mike and I yelled and he just grinned. Ever since he has been trying to walk all around the living room. He is so proud of himself. I just melt when he grins. He is such a sweet, happy baby. It's hard to believe he will be one next month. Speaking of birthdays, it's that tie of year around here. Connor's is a week from Tuesday and Landon's is three weeks from that. Noah's rounds it out 6 days later with his. Three birthdays in 4 weeks. Connor has decided he wants to go see "Inkheart" with a couple of his friends and then have cake and ice cream. Sounds nice and simple to me! We are thinking of taking Landon sledding on Beech Mountain for his birthday. We found out they have a place for kids 12 and under to sled for free next to the chamber of commerce. They even make snow for it. We're going to have a small party for Noah. It will be a jungle theme and I'm going to make him a monkey cake. It will be a busy month but a lot of fun also.
